Flexible Payment Plans

What is a flexible payment plan?

Flexible payment plans allow you to pay for an item in monthly installments. You select how many installments and the date of the month (5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, or 25th) for payments to process (similar to a layaway plan). Once the final payment and shipping amount has processed, your item will ship.

If I opt for a payment plan, when will my item ship?

Once the final payment and shipping amount has processed, your item will ship. If the item is not available to ship by your final payment date, the final payment will be moved to the following month until the item is ready to ship.

Do flexible payment plans incur interest or finance charges?

No. Sideshow flexible payment plans are not assessed interest or other finance charges. There is a modest cancellation fee. If the item had a non-refundable deposit (NRD), the amount of the NRD is kept as the cancellation fee.

Is (insert item here) eligible for a payment plan?

Most Sideshow items offer flexible payment plans. If available, you'll notice a box directly below the item price indicating a monthly payment option.

If the option isn't available, then the item is not eligible for a payment plan.

If a plan is not available on the site, can a Customer Support team member set one up?

While we try to offer plans on as many items as possible, certain items are not eligible for a payment plan. If the option isn't available on the product page, Customer Support will NOT be able to setup a payment plan.

How do I choose the amount of installments and day of the month?

Click the Payment Plan window to expand options. You then have the ability to select which day of the month and the number of installments. Your projected payment schedule will display, and you can then click "Apply Payment Plan" once these options are selected.

If I would like additional installments, is this possible?

The number of installments you see posted on the product listing is the maximum amount of installments. Customer Support representatives are not able to setup additional installments. Typically the amount of installments ranges from 2 installments up to a maximum of 8 installments.

Once I've placed an order with a payment plan, am I able to change the date of the month payments are processed?

Yes. You can do so via accessing the order details for the plan you wish to adjust in your online account.

Once I've placed an order with a payment plan, am I able to opt out and switch to a single payment?

Yes. You can do so via accessing the order details for the plan you wish to adjust in your online account. Please note, if your final payment is already set to process, and you remove the flexible payment plan, this may result in a delay in having your item ship.

I need to postpone a payment. How can I do so?

Collectors have the option to postpone their payment one month up to two times. You can do so via accessing the order details for the plan you wish to postpone the payment on. Please note, Customer Support representatives cannot postpone payments for you. It must be done via the website.

Am I able to postpone a payment more than two times?

No. Once payments have been postponed twice, they cannot be postponed any further. Please note, Customer Support representatives cannot postpone payments for you.

Am I able to pay my full balance in advance?

Sideshow now offers the ability to pay in full for a pre-order item before it comes into stock. Please note that if an item is not yet in stock, the shipping and tax will be due when the item is ready to ship. Please be advised that the Flexible payment plan must be removed first for this option to be available.
