What is a waitlist reservation?
Waitlist reservations allow collectors to put themselves in a waiting line for an item once its edition has been reserved during a pre-order window. There are times when items become available prior to shipping due to order cancellations If this happens, we offer those items to collectors with waitlist reservations.
How do I make a waitlist reservation?
To join a waitlist, simply log in to your account and click the "Join Waitlist" button located on the item page.
Once you've clicked "Join Waitlist," you will see the page display "You're on the Waitlist."
Is there any cost to add myself to the waitlist?
No. No charges are processed when you make a waitlist reservation.
Does adding myself to the waitlist guarantee a piece for me?
A waitlist reservation is not a Sideshow order. It does NOT guarantee you the piece. If a piece is found for you, you will be notified via e-mail and you will need to complete the checkout process and place an order for the item. As quantities are extremely limited for these items, fulfillment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and a piece is NOT guaranteed.
What are the chances a piece is found for me?
Fulfillment is almost entirely based on the number of cancellations we receive for a given item. Items may become available at the time of shipping due to canceled orders, warehouse inventory discrepancies, etc. Sideshow staff do NOT have access to waitlists, cannot advise you on your position on the waitlist, or provide insight as to how likely it is a piece will be found for you.
Are items I have waitlist reservations for visible from my account?
Yes. You can then view any items you have waitlist reservations for by accessing the "Waitlisted Items" section in your Sideshow online account.
How do I purchase an item once I've received the e-mail notification?
