Adding a Personal Customs Code To Your Shipping Address
In compliance with customs regulations, Sideshow is requiring that all accounts in regions where required add their Personal Customs Code, date of birth, or EORI number with their shipping address during the registration process. Collectors with existing Sideshow accounts will need to update their shipping address to include this Personal Customs Code, date of birth, or EORI number in order to continue to place orders and receive shipped product. In order to do this, existing accounts simply need to update their shipping address and enter the number in the corresponding field.
To add your Personal Customs Code:
To edit or add a new address:
- Visit www.sideshow.com
- Log in to your online account
- Click the figure of a person in the right-hand corner.
- From the account area, click Addresses.
- Select the address you wish to edit or Add new address.
- Edit the information on the address or fill in all requested fields.
- Click Add address
You will not be able to save the address until you have entered either the Personal Customs Code or date of birth (where applicable)
Once you have successfully added this information you will be able to save the address.
*PLEASE NOTE* Setting a new default address will ensure FUTURE orders ship to this address. Existing orders WILL NOT automatically update to this address. To update the address on an existing order, you need to access the individual order and update the address there.
To update the address on an existing order:
- Visit www.sideshow.com
- Log in to your online account
- Click the figure of a person in the right-hand corner. Click Orders.
- Click Open to filter your open orders. Locate the order you wish to update the address for. Click on the order number to open the order details page.
- Click Change in the address box on the order details page.
6. Click the current address and select the new address from the drop-down menu. Click Use this address. For in-stock items on a payment plan, you may be provided the option to update your shipping method.
*PLEASE NOTE* Items shipped without the Personal Customs Code or date of birth provided may result in additional fees being assessed upon import. Sideshow is not responsible for any additional fees requested on import as a result of the tax identification number not being provided.
