Item Back In-Stock
Sometimes, an item marked “sold out” on Sideshow might pop back into stock—but don’t worry, it’s not a new edition springing up out of nowhere. These restocks are simply completing the original limited edition run, and the edition size remains unchanged.
Why it matters:
- Not a new edition. If an item returns to stock, it’s part of that original batch—nothing is artificially inflated.
- Edition size stays the same. These reissues don’t increase rarity—they’re just fulfilling the original plan.
- Still exclusive. You’re getting exactly what was promised—no surprises, just another chance to grab it.
Why is this item going back into production after being sold out?
Because the originally published edition size was not fully produced. We build limited editions in batches. If early batches sell through and collectors continue to request the piece, we may schedule another batch to complete the edition.
Does this change rarity or my piece’s status?
No. Rarity is defined by the edition size published at launch. We do not increase that number. Follow-on production simply completes the original commitment.
Are later batches the same as earlier ones?
Yes - same edition, same design and core specifications. If there is any licensor-approved or materials update, we will note it on the product page and packaging.
How does numbering work across batches?
Numbering remains within the same limited edition. Numbers may not reflect production date, and may continue from prior sequences or be randomized, depending on the original edition plan.
Why not make everything at once?
Batch production respects demand, reduces waste, and helps us maintain quality. It also lets us honor the edition promise without creating excess inventory.
